Medical skills for the healing of physical wounds.
F I R S T A I D
First Aid is the starting skill for the Medica skill tree.
Applying first aid to a character requires constant roleplay to keep in effect. First Aid extends a player’s death count to 5 minutes instead of 3 and does not stop the count.
It cannot be applied to yourself, only to other players.

People with this skill can deal with a lot of injuries of many types and get their patients to a point where the player’s death count stops.
Upon attending a player, the physician pauses the death count unless they move away. It requires 1 minute of roleplay for a physician to stop a death count completely and one further to recover a single point of damage.
A Physician can only recover one hit point of damage on all locations. It will take the rest of the day for 1 more hit point to recover unless seen by a Surgeon, Apothecary or Alchemist.
Physicians can also aid a Surgeon in CPR. Pre-requirement: FIRST AID.
S U R G E R Y
People with the surgery skill not only pause the death count but are able to stop death count permanently after 30 seconds of roleplay and raise someone back up to full health via a minute worth of roleplay for each point, excluding the 30 seconds to stop death count.
Surgeons can deal with all types of physical wounds and heal someone up to full health. They can also, enlisting the help of another physician or surgeon, perform CPR on a dead character to try and bring them back to life. See the CPR section below for more details.
Pre-requirement: PHYSICIAN.
C P R
For up to 5 minutes after death count, a character can be resuscitated via CPR.
It requires two people; one must be a surgeon and the other must have any of the medical skills. In exchange for a minute of CPR/resuscitation roleplay, the surgeon will be given the chance to pull a bead from a bag. Depending on the bead pull, the character will be either retrieved from the jaws of death and back to an extra minute of death count or will remain permanently lost to Nasni. CPR can not be done more than once per death on an individual to try and retrieve them. If all goes well, the resurrected character will receive a trauma card.
